A few practical details.
Who is the home best suited to?
The house works well for a family with one to three children. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, plus a trundle bed for sleepovers. The playroom’s foldaway bed can accommodate two visiting grandparents or friends for occasional stays; it isn’t intended as another long-term bedroom.
This is our sacred home, and we’d love to share it with a family who appreciates it as much as we do. We’re not looking for groups or party hosts.
What is the rental period?
The rental is for the full six months, from January to June 2027. The dates are fixed.
What does the monthly rent include?
The $16,950 monthly rent covers the furnished house and all household bills: gas, electricity, water, trash and gigabit fiber internet. Cleaning twice a week and regular yard maintenance are included too.
There are no extra household bills to budget for. It’s ready for you to move in and make yourself at home. The optional Tesla rental is an additional $1,500 per month, including home charging.
How is the house looked after?
We love this home and have put a great deal of care into every detail. We’ve spared no expense on the furnishings, equipment or upkeep. If anything needs attention during your stay, let us know and we’ll arrange to fix it promptly.
What are the parking and charging arrangements?
There are two driveway spaces for your own cars or visitors. The two-car garage holds the owners’ cars and isn’t available as parking for your vehicles. Our Tesla is available for an additional $1,500 per month, with home charging included using the 240 V / 60 A charger.
Can we add the Tesla to the house rental?
Yes. The Tesla is available only with the house rental, for an additional $1,500 per month. It’s our full-spec 2026 Model Y Performance in matte white, with the Full Self-Driving (Supervised) package and latest hardware, a roof rack and a Kuat rack for two bikes. Home charging is included in that price.
What should families know about the garden?
The house sits on a wooded hillside with terraced gardens, stone steps, decks and paths. Take a look through the outdoor photos to get a feel for the layout. Children will need supervision around the steps, slopes and garden water feature.
What’s within walking distance?
A nearby pathway connects to Cascade Walk and downtown Mill Valley, roughly a ten-minute walk. Cascade Falls is about five minutes away on foot, with hiking and cycling routes in the surrounding area. Walking times are approximate.
